I own 27 of Horton’s books generally I love his stuff but this story is a foul turd at best. feral female slaying armed and trained healthy men throwing 25 lb rocks? I’m used to suspension of disbelief in this genre but this offering is so bad.

Love the story line! Love the author! Love the narrator! It’s in the same universe as another series of books by the author. So glad he expanded on that universe!

Ivy is more like poison ivy I have enjoyed all four books in the way of Dan series. The characters are fantastically created, and you become very attached to them. The author and narrator have done an amazing job with a great story. I am hoping there will be a book 5 in the series…
The characters were either very likable or dislikable as the case may be but they were like real people. The story was great and I never got bored. The characters loved hard and fought hard even if a bit callous in their bloody fights.
