Love the author, he did not disappoint. Totally engaging. Listened every chance I got. The narrator is amazing. 30 hours of loving this book! If you like this genre, you will love it too.
If I didn’t know the work of Kathy Reichs I’d say that “Bones” was based on Diane France. She, Davenport and the rest remind me of a slogan on a T-shirt I received as a gift while an undergraduate in Anthropology—“ Archaeologists Are the Cowboys of Science”. I can almost always finish an audiobook, but the characters were too annoying to be able to continue.
This whole book is just background from birth on how the main character and about why he is the way he is. This whole book should have been one chapter or a paragraph. Just be prepared to sign on for buying 10 books because none of the books in this series are Full Complete books..
A bit boring and hard to stay engaged in the story. Jumped around a lot. More from Susan’s journal would have been interesting
