The only thing I dislike about this series is the inclusion of real people, who are likely friends of the author. It’s kinda cringey. Everything else is great though.
If you are a doomsday prepper this story is for you, if you are a regular person then you will find this paranoid
This series of Mark Goodwin, may be my favorite. It is filled with laughter, heartbreak, and never ending adventure. The characters are so real and will stay with me, long after I am done reading. I just LOVE how Elijah and Moses are portrayed.
It has a great story line that is so believable that it is scary. It also has a host of characters that seem so different but come together as a team.
This book is more about how life starts getting back to the new normal and less about survival encounters that drove much of the previous books. Not to stay there is not action. A web of realistic interwoven stories with a fast paced, white knuckle all the way drive. The good guys and the bad ones, which would you become in order to survive? A great and riveting listen and a good warning to be prepared.
the first 15 chapters is like listening to a biography of a fictional character. very slow and barely relevant. If you can make it past that it’s very good. it’s all prep and no action though. if you are a beginner this is excellent and highly recommended, if not it may be too slow.
