The book is OK, the daughter is a little insufferable, I’m not sure if it’s the writing or the voice actress but it kills the rest of the characters for me and I don’t think she is going anywhere. I’ll probably stop after book 1.

This book starts off very strong, however the plot advances at a snails pace and it just seems like a slog to advance through the story, even at 1.5x speed. The premise is good, but this story would honestly be better captured in a podcast episode or two, not an entire novel, the writer milks..
