Review from The EMP Survivor Series Box Set, Books 1-3 →
Narration was perfect as usual for Kevin Pierce. Characters were interesting, storyline was great. It’s more of a fiction thriller about the characters than the actual EMP survival books I’ve read in the past. It’s definitely a page turner and I’m going to see if this story keeps going in any other books by this..
this book was actually pretty DECENT. not great not bad just decent. nothing spectacular. Will spend my next audible point on the omnibus for sure.
I really don’t care for Kevin Pierce. Especially after being spoiled on Ray Porter. That’s really my only gripe. Petty, I know…. It’s just hard to picture the characters as Horton describes them with Kevin Pierce narrating, it just kind of ruins the mental cinema. I like Horton. I’ve read many of his books. Definitely..
Pretty darn good piece of writing. Knives, guns, explosions. It’s a great thriller with all the twists and turns keeping you engaged till the end.
Makes you think about how society will react when The shit hits the fan. Eventually it will. Good work, sir!
This book was a pure slog fest. Clearly not as good as his other books His other books mad Mick. The borrowed world and locker nine had been gripped from the very beginning: I could not put them down. this book was WAY more slow paced and more like trying to be chill. I fell..
