I have read many of Mark Goodwin’s series. This set was just a little too far on the biblical side for me. The Bible verse at the beginning of every chapter, I found unnecessary and wanting to fast forward through it.

Gratuitous violence was over the top. I am a retired military man, so I am not squeamish; however, the graphic violence was extreme and completely unnecessary. at least the sex wasn’t graphic. The gore was. if you want to be depressed with suicidal thoughts then maybe this book is for you.

I’ve been doing a lot of yard work at a new property. This series kept me hooked nonstop for several weeks. I just want to say thanks to the author and narrator. Great character development, wild story, creative details, awesome action. It had me worried, scared, angry, happy, hopeful, and even joyful. Thanks again.

Mad Mick and his family are too fun to listen to. I have enjoyed every book in the series and I am very excited about the next installment!
