In short, I would describe this as Shenandoah with Jimmy Stewart meets end times. Granted, mostly old geezers like me will get that reference. 😂

This was a very good series and narrated very well. I love the dry humor and banter among the story’s characters.

Well written and well read, never over the top or clearly filling pages with unnecessary information.

I wonder about the popularity of this genre, whether we’re predicting our own demise. I suppose that’s why it’s popular to some! This was a nice and easy read with good characters and story. I can understand a book that Goes from one crazy thing to another, but to go from 1 crazy over the top insanely unbelievable or thing to another is almost too much exclamation poi found myself entertained So, I guess that’s what it is all about!
