This story is very religiously motivated. Roughly 1/10th of the text is biblical scripture, which is totally fine! Just not really my bag. Nonetheless, it’s another entertaining Goodwin story and I always enjoy Kevin Pierce’s performances!

So when I got this book I was expecting an emp survival story, got what was essentially great value skynet, admittedly great revenge violence, admittedly good action scenes, and the usual ‘this is meant to depict the horrors of civilization in chaos!’ hints/light description of sexual assault that somehow makes its way into these types..
