The dialogue is pointless and redundant most of the time. It just gets so stale and boring after a while, got about halfway through couldn’t finish it.

Coming from a romance novel reader, this series was amazing. It kept me wanting more.

Not only did I have complete distain for 3 of major characters, I was so angry at the lack of common sense. I had to fast forward most of the chapters regarding the dogs. I have added this author to my list of, “never purchase again!”

Those of us that follow Jim Powell probably saw where this book was going, but I think it’s pretty spot on other than Byron. The reality is that dude would’ve been gone with the first attempted theft, other than that pretty good.

Kept me listening all the way through. Great detail about surviving. Can’t wait for the next series
