if you have any interest in post-apocalyptic literature then this will fill that doom and gloom heavy heart. funny, brutal and a perfect example of how you should raise a kid just for the end of civilization as we know it. awesome series, I can’t wait to hear the rest of it.
I still love this series. I like that some new characters have been added but it makes me nervous when I get to liking a new character. I look forward to the next one.
Sorry Mark, I’m a huge fan, but this finial book in the series was bad. Only two of the main characters survived, went to Turkey for some reason, a lot of confusing nonsense happened, then the book ended. And Elijah is barely mentioned.
Narrator needs to be able to do ethnic accents – he spoke the middle eastern characters with an American accent.
I Love Franklin Hortons books. his way of writing and bri ging each character to life is just entertainment to the fullest.
It was a lil harsh about the killing but that’s how it would be. I loved the books and will look for more from the author. ❤️❤️
I’m not sure what was worse… The awful narration or the story. Both were just terrible. So many implausibilities, a narrator who has one voice and then adds a slight Irish accent for the main character, and sometimes his voice is so shaky that it sounds like he’s almost crying, misogyny that is taken to..
