I liked how Matty & friends handled each obstacle as it came at them. There were times I thought Matty’s plans were going to blow up in her face. I listened to this book while piecing together a quilt top. I was so into the suspense that my seam ripper saw a lot of action.

Absolutely amazing story depicting real people in real situations making real survival decisions. Horton makes every character believable,.. you feel their emotions, and you mourn them when they are gone.
