I had high hopes for “The Traveler Series” by Tom Abrahams, especially given the premise and the promising start. Unfortunately, the series failed to deliver on many fronts. Even in the very worst of times humans need the connection of others both in community, friends, and intimacy. Hope in the next books in this series have these necessary connections.
Mansplaining narrative. Racist undertones, sexist and right wing propaganda. The lead character is smug and self-righteous. The books in this series are only 5 hours long. Pure money grab. The dialogue is poorly written.
Keeps you involved and isn’t way predictable like a lot of series. Love the new spin and the hours of listening!
The story is interesting, but could go a little deeper. It’s light post apocalyptic pepper survival fair, and a great value when bought in box set. Will continue to be a fan of the author and especially narrator Kevin Pierce.
The book is going well I have listen to lots of prepped books so now book two and I’ll give a full review after all the books
This book is for believers, conservatives and though I do not believe in the rapture as portrayed, it does protray where we are headed. It is fiction, with a good storyline and why being prepared is always good. I do believe we are in end times, the author does protray possible dangers ahead in this..
