Dumbing down characters to make a story longer seems to be the nail in every series coffin. I’ve been listening to the whole series then I come to 10 where characters are suddenly stupid and making intentional bad choices is disappointing to say the least. A++++ if you like post apocalyptic survival then this is for you. I won’t say to much about the story bc I don’t wanna cause any spoilers but it’s well worth 1 credit.

Decent listen. Good story and character development. I have tried to listen to Kevin Pierce before and could finish the book. I hate his voice and reading style. The story was interesting enough to keep me listening. There are 7 more books in the series, if Pierce reads those too I doubt I will listen..
I felt like the end was rushed. too many characters were either killed off or just “disappeared” to close out the saga. truth is there could have been several other spin off books to deal with that. but overall a good end
I like the same narrator being used for the entire series.Also the main character although sometimes emotional with his decisions was a solid character.

Love the Mad Mick series. Great stories and characters. All strong and believable in their various roles
It’s sad when every character thinks and says they would do the correct response but when the act the do the stupidest thing they could do. I wish the author had at least one character that had their act together and made good decisions. The story is depressing, because everyone makes bad choices .
The characters became unbelievably as the story continues. The only reason I finished is due to not wasting money.
