He broke off from the story all the time. Seemed unorganized, and amateurish. I can not recommended, had high hopes because I enjoy the podcast he does.

I have listened to all ten books and it starting getting bad with the intro of light speed, the writing got bad to accommodate a poorly written scenario. i persevered to this last book and I won’t recommend it.

I just finished Book 3. I ended up liking the crazy humor and bickering between father and daughter. Even started to like Barb a little bit. I don’t know how many books are in the series but this is a good stopping point if I don’t get back to it.

First Mark Goodwin book series I ever listened to. It was a remarkable story. Highly recommend. All of his books are excellent.

Goodwin has a great way of showing visually what life might be like during the End Times. It certainly helps me understand the Bible more.

Love this series. Wish Marcus could go on another adventure. Maybe we can get another journal book? Really enjoyed going back to the beginning from a different perspective.

I wish the author had sent his story to a writer that could have helped him turn it into a masterpiece. The entire thing is short blunt sentences like it’s meant for a kindergartner. There’s no adjectives or metaphors or ANYTHING that appeals to the senses and draws you in like a good author does…

It felt like the author was going over instances in which his point of view in previous books was not agreed with. He explained how his point of view was the accurate one. It is also offensive to refer to homosexuality as deviant. The narrator sounds like he is so tired he lets his voice..

Great survivalist series. It has become one of my favorites. Love the narrator as wellAs the author. Another fun series.
