Really enjoying the authors’ stories. I like how survival tips are interwoven into the narrative. Interesting choice using real people as fictional characters. This book really needed a younger sounding narrator though. All three main characters are 35 and younger but the voice sounds 50+.

from start to finish, this is one of the best audible post-apocalyptic stories. The narrator is spot on in his descriptions. I found no discrepancies in the technical aspect of the story in regards to weapons and tactics. I highly recommend this box set and I’m hoping that they will be a future book.

I liked the personal growth for Loyd, Jim and others. The story was more spooky than the others but not in a bad way. Jim became unlikable in parts but it now seems intentional. I loved the children and some of the people who do things because ‘that is how they have always been done.’..

Bleak is the best word to describe The setting, characters and content of this trio of books. Good audio reader can’t fix that.
Recipes are the last couple chapters, hearing those read … instead of actually seeing them … waste of time for me. This book may be helpful to any person that doesn’t ever research on their own.
