I liked the family of patriots. The relationships between the characters and the depth of empathy shared.

I liked the characters, interesting normal people that do what they have to do. It is a great read.

An absolutely believable scenario with relatable characters. It certainly makes you think about how quickly life can change, and how ill prepared we are as a society to respond. It’s times like this that I’m glad my memory is so rotten, because I can’t wait to listen to it again!

Pierce’s narration is perfect for Horton”s characters, storyline, setting, and style. These two were meant to create together. Every new book I hear just solidifies that idea more.

I disliked nothing. it was great. I would suggest more people read this series

This is probably one of Kevin pierces best narrated series. I was resistant to start this series because I didn’t think it was my genre of choice but here I am, purchasing book 10

Steve Jackson never fails to offer a complete story of these cases. Together he and Kevin Pierce are two of our greatest storytellers!

the narrator mimiced a “womans” voice multiple times. I felt it was insulting to all women as we really do not speak like that!!

Seems like the first book and third are same. Lots of over explaining and at times it’s just filler. Main story is great and I will keep listening but I did find myself skipping chapters
