It was a decent story but for the love of god, I am getting tired of the lead in all of the post apocalyptic protagonists, no matter their level of training and experience, continually making the wrong choice or one that was just not thought out. I really tried to listened to all four books..

If you like a holier-than-thou, self-righteous, know-it-all as a main character, you’ll like Josh. I very much enjoyed the story and setting of everything, but it’s a little too “on the nose” for me. The author has his interpretation of the Bible and revelations, and doesn’t leave much for the reader to use their imagination…
A powerful story but I found the descriptive details when Danny was involved hard to get through- but I kept coming back.
