Some books become hot among startup folks but when you read them, you wonder “why the f?!” This is one of those books. The strategies are vacuous and dangerous. Probably good for selling their consulting services but pretty terrible actual advice.

I love the author and the narrator. The mad mick storyline quickly turned into my favorite, even though the borrowed world series lured me in first. I could sit in my easy chair by the fireplace and listen for hours.
The underlying story is good; however, I struggled to finish this series due to the unnecessarily vile and disturbing details weaved throughout. There were so many areas were a little less would have made the story more….
This was advertised as a “post apocalyptic EMP thriller” I had to stop after the first book because not only after over 10 hours of listening has there been no EMP, but the evil computer who is going to probably set it off is such a minor character and barely in the story at all…

Let’s be honest, after the first couple MM Books things started to slow down a bit. Understandably, there were a lot of character foundations to be built. Now that those foundations have been built, things are starting to heat back up. Glad I stuck with it, absolutely worth it!
