Are there really people that dumb? Great prepper tips but why did the author choose to make these characters so stupid. Difficult to listen to the story. This author (and a few others I have listened to lately) needs to take tips from Mark Goodwin, A. American, and William Forsythe … to name a few…..
Franklin Horton still found unexpected twists and turns in the story line that shows even more growth in the primary characters while setting us up for the 11th book in the series. Kevin Pierce never disappoints as the voice actor/reader in Audible (the version I purchased).

I’m not sure how, but every book in this series gets better and better. Incredible and entertaining. Every sentence continues to build this world into something I pray we never have to navigate but if we do I hope there are people like Conner, Barb, and their team to see us through.
This entire series really does a mind game on you. I go into full survivalist mode and have gotten night vision goggles, and other survivalist gear. Good job.
If you have not excepted Christ as your Lord and Savior, after reading this book, or during this book. Please think about making Jesus Christ the main focus of your life.
