No character building for the people in the Lomis settlement. Would’ve loved to feel more invested in the settlers of the homestead. I wanted to feel more invested in Indigo’s character but I felt disconnected because she had very little background story. Same for all the new names that came up in book 5

It started out good but then disappointing. The dog and cat were made out to be like people and it was too far fetched. The DEA character was too far fetched. Bummed cause this had great potential.
