Love the Mad Mick series. Great stories and characters. All strong and believable in their various roles
It’s sad when every character thinks and says they would do the correct response but when the act the do the stupidest thing they could do. I wish the author had at least one character that had their act together and made good decisions. The story is depressing, because everyone makes bad choices .
The characters became unbelievably as the story continues. The only reason I finished is due to not wasting money.
Review from Sarge!: Cases of a Chicago Police Detective Sergeant in the 1960s, ’70s, and ’80s →
Sarge appears to be a man of great integrity and compassion. He tells compelling stories about his life and career. Kevin Pierce, as always, does an outstanding job as narrator.
I liked it all .almost all resurch was done except .for like old cowboy shows they don’t pickup whepons when all they have is 22 l r .Tom goes into so much detail then when the fights start zero no one would walk away from fire power laying on the ground .and have a two..
If you like over the top unrealistic characters, this book is for you. Starts out interesting then goes in to never never land. Not my cup of tea.
I really enjoyed this story. I wish that the characters put more faith in God and had more supernatural experiences. Overall it was a really great book!
very gripping, and factually laid out in a way that you could truly see it happening in our near future if we keep electing derelict idiots to run our country!
