the story was boring. there was no kind of character development which made them so forgettable that I couldn’t remember who was who.

This book was so good, at times I forgot it wasn’t real!!! I can’t wait to read his next book!

I like the book. It is interesting to imagine what life would be like in a post apocalyptic landscape.

Firstly, the narration is on point. The writing was fine. But, at the end of the day the protagonist just wasn’t a very interesting subject.

More of a story and less survival info than I’d like but I really enjoyed this series.

Story was well done except: Hate the religious overtones. It really should be identified before we start. Also, hate a full out cliff hanger. I love a good series but need each offering to stand alone. I won’t bother with the rest in this series of others by this author.

Very in depth coverage of tragic, horrific and moving events. It feels like you get to know some of the major characters. I’ll be looking for more titles from this author.

This one jumps around a bit but all comes together in the end. He doesn’t a great job of telling the non-main character stories too. Fascinating story.

More of a GREAT SAGA(!)… Yes, you care about the charachters and each step of the stories that are masterly woven together(!). I find myself caring about them*
