An intriguing listen, that induces deep thought about one’s self and loved ones. What extremes they may need to and be willing to go through with to ensure safety and survival.
The narrator is great, the story is not real good. You can tell early on the author doesn’t have much in the way of firearm knowledge.Kind of hard to buy the fact that all the cartel guys are carrying shotguns and single action revolvers.Lets be real about it I could walk down my street and find at..
Loved the grandma letters to grandson and story started good but….characters were irritating and leaps in story were not realistic. There are much better story lines in this theme to read. I wouldn’t recommend.
I just finished book 5 it’s an enjoyable series, I’m digging the characters and the authors decision to kill off key characters is good, building up a character to kill it off is tough, but it really helps to get the point of anyone can die in this type of scenario across to the reader…
Story was just ok, not a total waste of credit but only if you get all four for one credit. The dialogue wasn’t great but not the worst I’ve experienced. Overall this is a mediocre story and entertaining enough.
I love that this starts out so different from the many other apocalyptic books that I have read. Of course it comes to being about survival of a group of people that you come to love and care about, But it definitely starts out and still has some very interesting twists. I’m glad I purchased..
