I love that this starts out so different from the many other apocalyptic books that I have read. Of course it comes to being about survival of a group of people that you come to love and care about, But it definitely starts out and still has some very interesting twists. I’m glad I purchased..

Story keeps flipping between 2, 3, sometimes 4 groups of people after just a page or two two of writing. Hard to concentrate and follow storyline. I thought things were happening without much explanation adding to my confusion of what was going on, where people were, where they were going, what they were doing, etc…

This is a pretty good story, the narration makes it better. I have to say, the author used the word “detritus” at least 10 times in these three books. There are 6 other words that were overused.
