I enjoyed the adventures Abrahams wrote in the traveler series, I lived in Texas at one time and the descriptions are very authentic. The characters are colorful and well defined. On the downside Abrahams apparently never uses the services of an editor! For example, he used the expression, “he bit the inside of his cheek”..

If you’ve followed this case at all, you already know everything in this book. I couldn’t even finish the audio book so… I just didn’t really see anything competing about how the story was told.

I have 175 titles in my library I’ve listened to tons of books, a lot of them in the same genre. this one is on the bottom five. it’s incredibly cheesy, predictable, very little plot development and I just don’t care about the characters. I can’t believe I listened to all three of the books…

The first 2/3 of this book were interesting, macabre, and fascinating true crimes. My attention was caught and I actually remembered a few of the stories from news report.The last part became too gory for me to really enjoy. I did not finish it.
