I’m enjoying this series. The author makes it clear this is fictional, but I enjoy his interpretations of the prophecies in the Bible.
This is true stories. There is some interesting stories in this. If you like this genre I think you’ll like this. There is sone stories I remember hearing on the news. Kevin Pierce does a great job narrating this.
So easy to love all the characters in this story – especially Bartholemew and Catrick- love the closeness of the small community – just excellent over all looking forward to reading more.
I’m 30 hours into this and it’s good, story’s engaging & good. However not even at Christmas is there a single mention of Jesus. Apocalypse stories devoid of Jesus always seem hollow & hopeless to me. America used to be biblically centered, I miss that America very much.
The story is told very well with in-depth character development and insight into the thoughts and feelings of all those involved in these horrific crimes.
If you’re interested in hearing constant internal emotional conflict dialogue, this book is for you! That, and the 13 year old girls whipping 225 pound vets in hand to hand combat was a bit much for me. I liked the previous Abrams book I listened to. it did have good parts here and there.
Good story and great narration. Like the characters. The sort developed well and with great emphasis on family and country
