This was a great depiction of what might happen in the future I must read for preppers

The Carrington event, 1869, wreaked havoc on a country that had at the time barely cracked a window into technology. Our current situation would find such an event as societally-kneecapping far greater that a dozen air-burst nukes. The magnitude of dependency on electricity is the true 800-pound gorilla in the room.

A great (non-series) book. Love the characters and the storyline. Easy to visualize all that was happening. I see people whining about Climate Change…? This book is not about climate change. The only time it’s brought up is over conversation amongst some politician types. Lol, and that’s pretty much how it is today! Again, great..

It’s nice to find a book that’s believable and the writer actually knows about what he’s writing about.

Super series! Highly recommend, it will open your eyes to a realistic view of the future. Wonderful narrative!

Loved it. This story has gut twisting aspects and one can really lose themselves in the saga.

I enjoyed the story. I would have loved more about Levi. He was truly the hero of the books, I don’t know if anyone would have survived without him.
