I enjoyed the story line and after each book I found myself wanting more. I would of liked to experienced the awakening of the spring and summer to come. I also love the narrator Kevin Pierce.

Can’t imagine what kind of spiel Cody had that would convince so many good intelligent women that he was Prince Charming, when he was such an ugly little gargoyle inside and out. Ghastly excuse for a human being. Kevin Pierce does a stellar job as always.
Extremely realistic. Most of the details weee well thought out and accurate. Great story line and each book bled into the next seamlessly! I love apocalyptic stories in general but it’s always even better when it’s not all zombies and infections and more about something that’s actually very possible and likely.

If you are expecting an in-depth dive into this case, do not pick this book. There is too much talk about other cases as fillers and not enough discussion of Delphi.

I found myself listening to chapters 2 & 3 times bc the the information was so interesting I wanted to catch EVERYTHING said. I am looking for this podcast to listen to as well. I also believe having Kevin Pearce do narration just adds perfection to every book. I love the “tongue & cheek” comments..
I’m disappointed , the first 2 were awesome ,this one moved to far away from the end of the world concept . Just a war book . I’m disappointed because I liked the first ones so much .
Most realistic story I have read. Action packed with characters you get to know and cheer for and those whose end comes with tragedy. It’s a community that builds initially from the strength and guidance of Jim, one of the few that saw collapse imminent.
Finished the 1st and 2nd book in the series and I am enjoying it. I love listening to Kevin Pierce’s voice and have heard him narrating multiple book series. Starting on Book 3, but I want to know “Where is Alan?”
This has been an enjoyable series to read. I look forward to finishing it. Word.

I love apocalyptic books, especially ones that have strong women; however, … The Ryman family, especially Colton Ryman, is truly arrogant, self-righteous, selfish and no better than most. The family does everything they complain about, only not quite as bad and somehow this justifies their actions. I have listened to way better books at reasonable..
