Review from Perfect Storm 2 →
I enjoyed this story beginning to end. So well written & great narration. I felt like I knew this monster myself. Sometimes even finding empathy for this killer.
Greg Olsen is one of the best true crime writer’s there is & this book, again, shows why. This story is told perfectly.
Intriguing from start to finish. Well researched. Character development is excellent as is narration. Hard to believe his reign of terror & killing
Dislike: If there was a predictable moment in any part of the story, it happened.Like: It helped pass the time on long commutes. I almost stopped listening to the story numerous times, but there was just enough thread of curiosity for me to keep it going. Thankfully it’s over, now I can move on …
Another excellent example of the evil people do to others. This mind blowing real life event should chill you to the bone. The way one sick individual can convince women about money and fame, and have or own nothing, is mind boggling. Just because ‘he’ throws money around, and talks a good game, doesnt add..
Listened out of desperation and somehow made it through five books. It’s frustrating having a main character who’s such a loser—falling for every trick and walking straight into every trap. He has no real skills, except not feeling bad about killing people. I’m not expecting a superhero, but an alcoholic, pot-smoking loser wasn’t exactly what..
I liked most of the story. It started slow but kept my interest till the end. Definitely recommend.!
