Listened to the first 2 books. It’s an interesting premise with a few likeable characters, but suffers from a complete lack of foundation. It’s a bit hard for a military veteran to just accept the complete destruction of the US military and the abandonment of the homeland without A LOT more information. Far too vague..

The books start off strong and they get more dystopian romance novel as it goes on. Book 3 Unwanted World is the unwanted book in the series. Just another footstomping child like female character. As always, Boyd, has not disappointed me. Boyd has a great way of describing scenes and his storyline could unfortunately become the truth. Please check out, THE FARM series for your next read or listen.
There ino new information in here whatsoever. I can’t remember the last time that someone felt that they needed to explain what fingerprint evidence is. Very short with filler, and all the information that can be found on the Murder Sheet podcasts. Disappointing.

Nic’s commentary on cases is the reason I love True Crime Garage so much. He’s so insightful and really researches the cases. His book is no different, and does not disappoint. I would love to see him author more books! Definitely recommend!

Just not a very good series – really cheesy relationship scenes and overall not a very good story . Not sure I’ll be able to finish the series.
