This was another great series, a credit to the author. Also another masterful performance by Kevin Pierce. Beck was a reluctant and multifaceted hero, his adventures were fantastic, and the end was bittersweet. …but, no epilogue? 😂

Overall, I give the set 5 stars. The last book seemed rushed. 4 books of building up to the 5th book. I felt like I was intrigued the whole time, which is hard to do. Definitely something different and refreshing.

Crazy that there are people in this world that a parent would do this. The book is long but worth the read.
First book was great, but after that my brain just stopped listening. I really struggled to understand where they were, who was who, and why the heck anything was happening. I tried, but my brain stopped listening. Narrator was good though. Just became a boring, convoluted stort.
