not happy, had high hopes for this series. this could have been a great series, but I am sick and tired of the constant anti Mormon theme. the blending of the crazy fundamentalist and the legit Mormon church. just tired of it. made it this far with hopes he would stop. I am now done..
I enjoy all kinds of apocalyptic stories, but really struggled to make it through this one. it seems like 50% of the books are bible references. Took away from the story for me.
characters overly flawed and story too predictable.much like Frank Horton, Tom is pumping out weak rehashed stories. I would love some great post apocalyptic fiction not much of quality in a while

This is my first book by this author. I really enjoyed the characters. They and the story line, steeped in current events, are believable. Kevin Pierce is awesome, as usual.
Humanity is toast..It’s only the first day and the shtf has begun. This is going to be an interesting series. Get yourself a copy, a coffee and cuddle up for some serious bad asserie.
I enjoyed the adventures Abrahams wrote in the traveler series, I lived in Texas at one time and the descriptions are very authentic. The characters are colorful and well defined. On the downside Abrahams apparently never uses the services of an editor! For example, he used the expression, “he bit the inside of his cheek”..
