Enjoyable story and the author seems to have done lots of research. I hate books where you can tell they’re just making stuff up

I love this genre but sometimes you come across crap like this…god is all, the left is evil and ANTiFA sprinkled in. Best part of the ANTIFA comments, they are the ones fighting actual tyranny while these overweight, military reject militia members are crying about masks, LGBTQ and whatever else the right wing media feeds..

I listen to a bunch of post apocalyptic series, most leave me flat and uninterested as more books are added, not this one! This series and the Borrowed World continue to keep my interest and provide new twists. I cant recommend this book and series enough!

There’s nothing wrong with prepping or being prepared but this story is just outrageous. How the “apocalyptic” event itself happens is dubious at best. But the story is just awful. Jim texts his wife that this may be a “SHTF situation” so she just runs out and buys everything in this weird list he’s made?..

I enjoy post-apocalyptic stories and this is one of my favorites. The author and narrator are some of the best. This is my second story from this author and I will continue to listen to his complete series.

Kevin does a great job narrating as expected. In my opinion he makes the story great.
