A nice change in this particular book compared to the rest. Laughed more times than in all the others. But still a grim reality.

very bad writing combined with flat narration. I don’t know if it’s the narrator’s voice or the writing but it is just off. Tell me how a small woman could hit a full grown man with a bed of a rifle and kill them with one blow. All his characters except for the main character..

The story starts off really well. Further in it becomes quite a love story. The last book seems thrown together.

I was not expecting the way of Dan to take this route. Kind of sad, but I know the author has something in store for us.

The violence is graphic. No swearing so far. Very realistic as to what can happen.

Blown away again! Action, comedy, grief. Couldn’t ask for more. Franklin Horton’s ability to tell a story is beyond comparison. If you’re a faithful follower of The Way Of Dan series, you’re going to love this.

I was reading this book to practice my English and I can tell you that these topics are amazing and the author has a good capacity to explain his topic fluency and coherently. The narrator is also very good. Good reading. 🙂

The Mad Mick series takes a dark and violent turn as they face off against a ruthless, heavily-armed gang with military weapons and training. Great next entry to the Saga. As before, I love Kevin Pierce’s narration, but his Irish accent is not my favorite. Very entertaining audio book.

The characters became confusing, the story dragged on, I will avoid the next book in the series.
