I loved this series! Most of the time 8 books is too many and the story gets stale. I actually liked it better as the books progressed. I highly recommend this series.

This an be a little slow but there is a lot going on and the details matter. So stick with it and don’t put it down. The family deserves the story to be told. Elizabeth deserves for her story to be told.

A truly horrific event, Powell family is beyond disgusting. The book was enlightening and I thought the male narrator matched the book and did well. However, the female narrator sounded like Siri. Not good! Fortunately, female narration is minimal.

This book.. has such a great twist in the way it is presented… from the views of a journal… more insight into the man and the family of Marcus Battle… it’s a must .. perfect performance from Kevin Pierce

Great story narrarated by one of the best out there. Story and realism of series kept me interested and hating when ended. Would be very nice to see more books to add to series!!!

This was a very enjoyable listen. I am typing as fast as I can so I can start the next book. Realistic characters whom you will be cheering for and bad guys whose demise you will relish.

I bought the package of books awhile ago. I wish I would have started it sooner. Great story telling and characters. Excellent narration as well.
