This was a great listen as an audiobook. The stories are absolutely wild. I love the narrator also because he sounds exactly like someone from the 50s and 60s (Transatlantic American accent!). Being born in the southern states, so much of this story was made more believable by the familiarity with the language and references. Gritty characters with such relatable traits made it easy to immerse in this colorfully woven tale. I look forward to the next chapters of this adventure.
Although the timeline seems a bit rushed, this is a wonderful series and easy to see how much research was involved. I recommend it!
