Review from American Apocalypse Box Set →
This is more of a bibllical book. If you want to be preached to, go ahead. I didn’t even finish it, Bad description.
Quite some time ago I read book one in the Days of Want series and promised myself I would read the rest of the series. Well, recently I fulfilled part of that promise when I listened to Kevin Pierce narrating the audiobook for books 1-4 of the series. As far as EMP/dystopian Days of Want..
I loved this book and look forward to seeing where we go from here. I love that the Mad Mick series is happening in the same timeline and the the storylines intertwine.
The Mad Mick, friends, family, and associates help President Lightspeed attempt to fulfill his promises while enemies try to kill all of them. So much action!!! Kevin Pierce’s narration is spot on, as always! ❤️
Mailer lost control of the readers’ interests. it was more of a legal treatise and maneuvers preceding a foreprdained execution than a fast paced thriller of a highly publicized àrrest, trial and latter days of the prisoner’s experience.
Instructs on DADA and zero sum games. Should be helpful with decision-making. I’ll buy the next book.
as a boy I heard my father and grandfather preach about the end times, new world order and the tribulation. I rejected it all as religious mumbo-jumbo but current events are exactly what they were warning us about.
Just as other reviewers have mentioned, to much distracting sex and drama. Many terms used the wrong way or unnecessarily. i.e. x-military used a lot,,, no it’s former military. firearms; a full description of the firearm is used almost every time…. “m4 AR-15 in NATO 556”. no one talks like this EVERY TIME ,,, I..
Just a solid series, every book keeps your attention! And this isn’t even his best series in my opinion. Very few authors I’ve listened to can make each character so well know. Absolutely worth listening!
