Sometimes audible books can be very frustrating. Here you have a story well worth listening to in the true crime genre. Yet, 10 seconds in and I have to return the title. Why? The narrator is simply intolerable. No way I could continue to listen to Methuselah narrate this story. Sounds like someone walked into..
This book has a profound impact on my belief of the paranormal. But what was even more surprising is that, with proper training, almost any individual can achieve some psychic ability. Indeed truth is stranger than fiction and I’m now completely driven to peel the layers of this enigmatic onion as physically possible.
A must read with great narration love listening to Keven Pierce., the bar scene was awesome but so were many other parts in book.
The story is compelling even if it’s bogged down in unnecessary details at times. But I am abandoning the series here. I will buy the series as an anthology or as a collection, but not at $15-$24 each. I just can’t rationalize paying $150 for what sh pi would be a 3 book series. I..
Although I don’t choose true crime as a first choice genre, twists and turns, and central characters with depth do capture my attention. This is the first post apocalypse book that I have ever listened to and I could not put it down. Kevin Pierce is my favorite narrator, so I decided to give this series a try. It is engaging with characters who are both complex and still believable. I look forward to the next book,
A lot of these books leave the ending purposely open. I find it leaves the reader without closure. Not this book. One of the best endings I’ve read in a book. Thanks for not leaving the reader hanging
