As one reviewer stated there are many characters , however; the narrator does an excellent job so that the readers know who they are through out the listening. As far as the content once I started this book it was so hard to put it down. One of favorite listening. Jack Olsen is definitely one..
Nothing about this is a good story. Nothing. The READER is good-the story is blah repetitious and boring. No detail…just blah blah same old same old. Listen to it to go to sleep…there is zero depth. Disappointed

I struck gold when I found Mark Goodwin! This book is great. He writes so well, it makes you really care about the characters. And the narration is terrific! I’ve already got the next series queued up in my library. These are entertaining stories that teach biblical truths of the end times. Highly recommend!

The Borrowed World series was my first apocalyptic book read. I hit the jackpot with Mr. Horton and Mr. Pierce narrating. Of course my favorite was Book one. But I have not lost interest. Can’t wait for Book 11.

My only complaint is that the books are to small. 5-6 hours is not enough for the cost.

The overall plot with the grandmother is unique and I was very hopeful. The story is choppy, it rushes many aspect of the character development and specifically the relationship bn characters. The daughter is one of the worst developing characters I’ve read/listened.
