The most unrealistic post apocalyptic book I’ve ever read. Had to return. Simplistic writing, extremely unbelievable characters. A teenage girl who looks like a twin to her twenty something mom starts jumping into the arms of a guy who they just met? Please don’t waste your time.

Never heard of this guy before but took a chance based on other reviews and was NOT disappointed. Excellent story, great plot and description. I enjoyed this story. It held my attention. I will be listening to the sequel.

I love the premise, but the audio froze at the 22:43 mark and wouldn’t advance further. I’ll try deleting and reloading.

Good story other than the constant God/Bible references, and the MAGA reference. Like damn is there nothing that we can enjoy without someone making something political. 🙄

This takes away from the serial killer trading card type commercialization of these stories. You meet a real man, a real jerk of a man, on his journey into selfish murder. As usual, he blames everyone but himself for his choices. I had to fast forward through some of the animal abuse. So sad. But..

Start to finish edge of your seat. I can’t get enough of this author and his writings.

Like all the other books in this series this one was great. I’m ready for the TV series so Netflix or Amazon get to filming.

These books were great stories, and this is one of my favortie authors. I’m in love with his books. However, I struggled with these.
