This book is without a doubt Tom’s worst book yet. Hear him set up a story 5 times and never really climax. Big letdown.

maybe this is teen literature and I, unknowingly, listened to it and thought it was silly. Whether it’s for teenagers I don’t know, but it definitely looks like it was written by one: shallow and obvious characters (from the protagonist tailored to please the overweight prepper reader to the irrationally evil middle eastern goons yelling..

I am so invested in these characters that when I thought some were dead I almost quit listening and returned all the other books in this series. That is how emotional I am about the characters. Hang in there and don’t give up hope and don’t give up on the series. Lauren is my favorite..

This story started out great but when it got to the part where Grayson encounters a man child who although an adult, talked like a baby and counted with his fingers, I couldn’t continue. Having endured a similar story with a similar character in the past, I knew that the story would get bogged down.
