Can’t exactly say I “enjoyed” this listen as it absolutely broke my heart. I cried many times and felt angry right along with the victims and their families.

Great story, great narration, and a wonderful way to clean house! Just plug in your earbuds, turn on your Audible, and clean away while becoming immersed in another world!

great story overall and loved that it was based on oregon. BUT… there are no grizzlies in oregon!

Writing and imagery is good, like the first book, but this one feels more transitional with less character development than the first. Still has some of the problems of the first, with short unnecessary chapters from tertiary character perspectives. Drags in the first 30 or so chapters but picks up around the last 15.

I totally agree with the review by C.Brown. There was so much repetition at times I thought I had pressed rewind by mistake. Finally, with 4 hours to go I had to quit. I went to the Epilogue and there were the same things repeated again! Ugh! Liked the narrator but that’s it!
