One of the best best books ever. It has everything you would want in a book. Highly recommended.
Great book!
Review from The Burning Hollow →
The protagonist had a lot of plot armor and the twists were predictable. Overall it was ok. I wasn’t a big fan of the evangelical overtones or the incredibly frequent lectures about prayer. Also the MAGA references were not as subtle as they were meant to be.
great author! great narrator! amazing book 🥰 take the time to listen to the first two or else nothing will make sense
All confess, there were moments through this story that were difficult to listen to. but, that was the entire point. this is a wonderful entry to the genre, and I applaud the author for his excellent work and to the narrator for doing it justice.
It was like a car wreck in slo-mo…. I kept listening hoping it would somehow come together but over 1/2 way in and if I hear another descriptive rehash or Morman/LDS history lesson… I just can’t do it anymore.
The author uses many scenarios to play on some falsely negative stereotypes and some falsely positive stereotypes. A good author, but tiring story.
I loved the authors way of grabbing your attention and creating the scene for you. I felt like I was there experiencing all the interactions, conversations and the struggle through through the woods.
Well this one is a nice story and really brought to life by Kevin Pierce. I thought a bit wordy and a little jumpy going from group to group at first, it reads well as you go through and get more in-depth in the story line. A bit gory through the later half and not..
