I only made it to chapter 25 which is about a quarter of the way through the 2nd book. Author is extremely repetitive and his attempts at humor and romance are absolutely horrible. Get to the title and Apocalypse we don’t need to hear every other paragraph that every woman left alive after the SHTF..

This seems like it was written by a 70 year old man hired by the Hallmark channel to put together a post apocalyptic harem story. The main character doesn’t have any skills or abilities reads some books and instantly becomes an expert. I wouldn’t consider this to be worth the price if it were free.
