Many post apocalyptic stories suffer from trying to do a cool gimmick without paying attention to character development. This is not one of them, it starts off with everything already going to hell, and it is a relatable story since it could be a very likely scenario with our current leadership, but that’s neither here..
The reader is clear and well paced. His voice is well matched for the autobiographical nature of this book. This is a sober look into a topic that is still greatly overlooked in the human capacity to experience continuity outside the human body.
This novel started out good but degenerated into being needlessly violent, even the “good” people were unjust. However this could easily be our future with the dimwits we have running the country. Kevin Pierce was good as usual. It’s worth a credit.

Absolutely loved this book! The author does a great job of making you feel like you are in the story and on the edge of your seat and the use of Bible verses and knowledge is spot on and really helps paint a picture of what’s going on and why it is important to keep..

I loved this series! Most of the time 8 books is too many and the story gets stale. I actually liked it better as the books progressed. I highly recommend this series.

This an be a little slow but there is a lot going on and the details matter. So stick with it and don’t put it down. The family deserves the story to be told. Elizabeth deserves for her story to be told.
A truly horrific event, Powell family is beyond disgusting. The book was enlightening and I thought the male narrator matched the book and did well. However, the female narrator sounded like Siri. Not good! Fortunately, female narration is minimal.
