Really enjoyed it even though I normally prefer zombie post apocalypse novels. It’s realistic, yet engaging and optimistic. Not fairy tale optimistic but more on the part of good people find each other even when the lights are out and together they can move mountains. Or survive.
Awful do not waste your time on this story. It was utterly disgusting at times and other times so rage filled it made me wonder who hurt the author.
The characters made many needed changes throughout the book. Some hard and some just needed. You will definitely enjoy this book.
what a great read. love this author, he always does a great job with his storyline and I actually like like the narrator as well. This was a addictive from start to finish.

Review from The Complete Sunset on America Series →
Love the length and the interaction between each character. Their development and never got boring. Husband thought it was a little violent in the descriptions of the death, but I thought it showed what war/death is like. Best part of book? NARRATOR Kevin Pierce. No one better. I could listen to him in every audio..
Nothing to dislike, Franklin Horton and Kevin Pierce says it all. These guys are phenomenal, great writing and the best narration. You won’t be disappointed!!
Enjoyed series, good characters fast moving story line. Rural setting more realistic. Loved the snarky banter and use of animal characters sort of!
