I really love this story it was great. Enjoyed listening to it to and from work got me real occupied when am doing chores. Didn’t appreciate the verse though it got weird because Whit never gave verse vibes and it just does not suit his character.

One of the best audiobooks I’ve ever listened to! As always KG is THE BEST narrator around. Diving headfirst into the stories that come from AW’s brilliant mind is always one of my favorite things to do. Just listened to it again to prep for book 2!
i love, absolutely love, most of the authors other thing but this…..just no. i have made it halfway through this book and just no. this entire thing gave me twilight flashbacks, except the brick reader insert character is a guy this time. well, there is also the basic grooming that happens and the special “bond”..
I’m so so sorry, I’m sure Joel Froomkin is a wonderful person, but please stop giving him narrating jobs. Especially for characters who have accents. I’ve heard him do an Australian accent, a British one, and now whatever the eff this Boston/NY hybrid is- all with the same kind of William Shatner meets Woody Allen..
And everything written by TJ Klune. I read this book first, then came back for the audio version, and it felt so different. Love them both, but think I prefer the audio.

I loved this book. I loved the audio. Sometimes it was like listening to poetry or a song or a dream. It was written like the main character, or narrator thought. It was repititious because that’s the way people think. We over think stuff and go over it in our head to ourselves, so it..

Tried this author because Kirt Graves is in on my list of favorite narrators. An enjoyable listening experience. The narrator is a make or break for an audiobook!!

There’s a lot of pacing issues with the relationships in this book, but all of the problems aside the fundamental problem is the main idea itself. Andrew is scheming and manipulative because the guy next door is soooo handsome, that he’ll do anything to push the envelope to seduce him, hoping to turn him straight…
