Hard pass. If I knew this was going to be gay erotica I wouldn’t have bought it. I thought this was going to be a monster story. Instead half the book is about putting bratworsts into buns. Seems like this should have been in the summary.

After reading the blurb I thought this was going to be something like Borne Identity meets hunting monsters, action packed horror/body guard action. That’s not what this is. When I saw “Contains mature themes,” I thought they are talking about death violence etc…. Nowhere in the blurb did it talk about sex, romance, relationships, etc…

It was so boring. Things popped off left and right but I just could not get into it. The 3 or 4 spicy scenes did nothing to liven it up.

TJ Klune did a really awesome job of developing character depth and values while wrapping it into a great story. I can’t wait to hear the next book and see how things evolve.
