The base story was fine, but I found all the explicit descriptions of gay sex didn’t add anything to the story. I consider myself quite tolerant, but the abundance of sexual descriptions made the story more boring.

Interesting turn of phrase and vivid imagery. Plentiful homosexual male sex scenes although they get a little repetitive by the end. Low medical and modern physics literacy. Narrator is excellent at differentiating the different characters’ voices, but the “Southern American” does not sound quite right to this Southerner’s ears.
