Predictable. Slow. Too much time spent describing sex scenes. Good narration. Book is far too long for the plot and story. Could have been twice as good in half the time.

Great story. Would recommend it over and over again. Couldn’t stop listening. Didn’t want it to end.

I had my doubts at first, after reading some of the reviews, but Loved it!

If you want love, suspense, hora, moments when your mouth hangs open this is for you. Narrator did a good job, so did the writer. I will listen again and look for more from this author!

This is the first TJ Klune book I’ve read/listened to and I was struck by the style of writing which has an almost ballad narrative. The repetition of “stanzas” has a melodic quality that lends to an oral tradition of story telling. Is there such a thing as an epic ballad? Or maybe a balladic..
